The Purpose of the Westmoreland Professional Builders Association is to encourage and promote home building and renovations, to build member relationships, to enhance professionalism, and to maintain a charitable giving program that supports this purpose.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome both the old and new Board Members, and all the General Members. I’d like to thank everyone for their vote of confidence and I look forward to working with all of you in 2008.

As the new President of WPBA, I’ve established some goals that I think will benefit the organization and hope I can count on everyone’s support to help achieve those goals. The first thing I would like to do is increase our membership. If every CURRENT member would bring ONE NEW friend, associate or customer to one of our many events this year, and introduce them to the WPBA, we would have many potential new members. My second goal is to stay current with all government affairs which impact our organization. Our Government Affairs Committee had strong leadership last year and I’d like to keep that on track. Lastly, I’d like to give our Members more opportunities to educate themselves on new products and materials. We work in a constantly changing field. Having new product knowledge can improve our performance and customer satisfaction.

In times like this with a sluggish economy, it is more important than ever to belong to an organization like the WPBA. Here you have an opportunity to network among peers, benefit from group advertising and attract new customers and referrals.
